This project consists of one 25,000 gallon underground tank and two submersible pumps serving two day tanks for emergency generators. The project has an extensive Preferred Utilities PLC-based fuel management system that monitors and controls leak detection and fuel transfer, including the pumped return system. The PLC system has an extensive MODBUS interface to the BMS system. The project has individual custom control sequences for each leak detector, depending on its location. There is a Preferred Utilities cleaning system for the tank. The entire project is AB 2481 compliant, with the vacuum monitoring information passed through modbus to the bms.
